WP 4.3 Tutoring and Students Assistance
The tutoring of students forms an integral part of the course modules. The tutoring system is primarily organized from the CeLGAS. Each of the students is able to contact staff with any problem or question related to the course. The centres employ staffs with an appropriate training who are able to answer most questions. The students also have an opportunity to consult the course writers directly via e-mail. Students' questions are listed on a FAQs page where the students can access them at any time. There is also a bulletin board and mailing list created for the discussion of issues and problems raised among the users of the course.
Important form of assistance forms the guidebook "How to Study?" which will be distributed to all the enrolled students. The guidebook gives the learners clear explanation of all the aspects of the course, i.e. how to access the course material, how to use it, schedule for all three modules, schedule of examinations and assignments deadlines, instructions on how to answer examinations questions, how to work on assignments topics, etc. Apart from these technical answers, the guidelines also give clear explanation to the user on how to access the CeLGAS for assistance, addresses of these centres, addresses of course writers, when and how these can be contacted, etc.
