The objectives
The main aims of WP3: Gas Distribution - "GIS" Technique in the GAS DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT are:
- The use of "GIS" software in network management
- The use of dynamic simulation and telemetric to control and steer the network
- The use of dynamic simulation to Project distribution network with specific users (e.g. peak-load power gas station)
- Renovations techniques of old pipeline installations management using GIS soft

The role and the tasks of each partner involved
- P1: Co-ordination of task. Set up of input data to course WP3.3. Internal quality iteration.

Total overall duration of task: 242 days
The working methods and techniques
The selection of technical material concerned topics of course and conversion into multimedia material ready to publish in Internet, on CD etc.
The expected outcomes/results of the work package
The main outcome is prototype of multidisciplinary course "GIS" Technique in the GAS DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT.
Dissemination ways
Responsible P1: Preparing web server, forum of experts on web, CD's with announcements of course, folders and brochures, articles on topics at regional vocational conferences, workshops with outside gas experts, articles in regional press.
