WP3.2: Underground Gas Storages: course for integrated management of Underground Gas Storage
The main aims of WP3.2 are
- Optimization of underground gas storage system for lowering short-term and long-term gas demand fluctuations in the national networking gas system
- Use of short term gas demand and dynamic gas network simulator to dynamically control various type of UGS
- Exploitation and developing aspects of gas storages in salt caverns and in aquifers
- Long-term exploitation strategies of porous gas storages

- P2: Prepare of program of dissemination for WP3.2. Prepare input for task. Responsible for technical preparing of course. Internal quality iteration.
The start and finish dates and overall duration
Total overall duration of task: 231 days.
The working methods and techniques
The selection of technical material concerned topics of course and conversion into multimedia material ready to publish in Internet, on CD etc.
The expected outcomes/results of the work package
The main outcome is prototype of multidisciplinary course WP3.2.
Dissemination ways
Responsible P2: Preparing web server, forum of experts on web, CD's with announcements of course, folders and brochures, articles on topics at regional vocational conferences, workshops with outside gas experts, and articles in regional press.
